Our Church

		Westside Community Church is a Christ-centered, Bible teaching church that welcomes people of all ages, races and backgrounds. We started in April 2000 with a small Bible study meeting in the home of the founding pastor, Joe Williams. We had our first public grand opening church service in April 2001 at Hornedo Middle School. This church voluntarily affiliates with the Baptist General Convention of Texas, but is an independent purpose driven church which also associates with other Bible-believing evangelical churches to share Jesus with the world. At Westside Community church, practical messages and contemporary music address the concerns of everyday life from God’s perspective. We call ourselves a Community church because we truly want to love and serve the entire community.
